It's important to look after your chain. And that applies to any vehicle that has a chain drive. It's the only way to ensure that your sprockets and, of course, your chain will give you long and reliable service. Dust and dirt from the road are the natural enemies of every chain and sprocket set. Unless they are cleaned off regularly, they will behave like sandpaper and damage all ungreased moving parts.

Motul C5 Chain Paste is the sure way to lubricate your chain kit reliably and extend its life. C5 Chain Paste is a white chain grease with extremely strong adhesion! So there's virtually no fling-off from the chain, even at high speeds. C5 Chain Paste is resistant to water and salts.

After giving your chain a thorough clean, apply the Chain Paste very thinly with the brush applicator, making sure you cover all surfaces. Allow 10 minutes drying time (this is essential!).
